In 2020, 51.5 percent of Holmen's operating profit was generated by the forest industry. Furthermore, paperboard accounted for 30.6 percent of the total operating profit. During this year, about eight percent of the operating profit was a product of the company's renewable energy production. Holmen is one of the biggest forest owners in Sweden. The company has its headquarters in Stockholm and was founded in 1875.
