Number of onshore bond defaults in China 2015-2019
In 2018, the number of onshore bond defaults in China increased dramatically to 125, mainly involving private enterprises. While many of China's companies were suffering from difficult restructuring, the participation of international fund in China's onshore distressed bonds was rather very little due to the high risks.
