Data are from the Health Funds Association of New Zealand (HFANZ) - the industry body representing health insurers within New Zealand. Membership is voluntary, with HFANZ members accounting for over 80 percent of private health insurance policies in place in the country. The Health Funds Association merged with the Financial Services Council in December 2020.
