In 2018, nearly 1.4 percent of indigenous language speakers in Mexico were considered vulnerable due to income, while the share of non-indigenous language speaking population estimated to be in that same situation stood at 7.2 percent. This means that indigenous language speakers in Mexico were less likely to face social vulnerabilities due to income.
