According to the survey conducted in Indonesia during presidential general election in April 2018, 42.4 percent of respondents who were in the millennials group indicated that they might change their minds on their preferred presidential candidate. In comparison, the respondents who were in the generation Z age group seemed to be more loyal to their preferred candidate, only 37.6 of this group might change their mind. On 21 May 2019, the General Elections Commission (KPU) declared Jokowi as the winner of the Indonesian presidential election, with over 55% of the votes.
