Cinema attendance in Venezuela 2017-2022
Throughout 2022, movie theaters across Venezuela sold 5.8 million tickets, up 190 percent from two million a year earlier. Despite the annual growth, the 2022 figure amounted to less than a third of the 2017 attendance. The number of cinema screens in Venezuela declined by about 12 percent between 2017 and 2022.
