38 percent of women respondents who earned between 30 thousand and 50 thousand Indian rupees per month preferred personal motor vehicles for daily commute across the country in 2018. Whereas, only 19 percent of the women who earned less than 15 thousand rupees per month preferred personal vehicles.

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhuvaneshwar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Jammu, Mumbai, Kochi, Mysuru and New Delhi were the cities under consideration.
