Box office revenue in Paraguay 2015-2022
In 2022, the box office gross in Paraguay reached 5 million U.S. dollars, up around 42 percent from 3.5 million dollars in the previous year. Despite the annual growth, the 2022 figure amounted to only 47 percent of the 10.5-million-dollar revenue recorded in 2019, before the coronavirus outbreak. Also in 2022, Paraguay had the eight -highest average price for a cinema ticket in Latin America.
