Box office revenue in Bolivia 2015-2022
In 2022, Bolivia recorded a box office gross of around 23.6 million U.S. dollars, up from 17.7 million dollars a year earlier – an increase of about 33 percent. Despite the annual growth, the 2022 figure amounted to less than 58 percent of the 40.3-million-dollar revenue reported in 2019, before the pandemic. Also in 2022, Bolivia had the sixth-highest average price of a cinema ticket in Latin America.
