For European non-household electricity users with an annual consumption of less than 2,000 megawatt-hours, electricity prices in 2023 were highest in Hungary, at 28.85 euro cents per kilowatt-hour. This was followed by Cyprus and Ireland, where the average price was slightly less, at 27.6 and 27 euro cents per kilowatt-hour, respectively. Sweden and Finland accounted for the least expensive electricity that year.
