As of 2018, close to a third of Belgians felt that internet-connected medical devices and self-check out and check-in services will have a positive impact on people's lives. 31 percent of people surveyed in Belgium in 2018 were under the impression that internet-connected medical devices will make a positive contribution to people's lives. Meanwhile, respondents were less convinced by drones and robots, with less than 20 percent of respondents expecting drones and robots to positively impacts people's lives in future.
