Germany was the principal exporter of new light commercial vehicles to Russia in 2018, with Russia importing roughly 4.7 million German vehicles in this category in that year. The previous year’s leader was Thailand, from which Russia imported over 5.5 million new LCVs in 2017. The first-time registered light commercial vehicle imports from Italy, France, and Japan saw a drastic fall from 2017 to 2018.
