South Korean credit card spendings on goods by Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo decreased by around 70.1 percent between the forth week of June to the forth week of July 2019. Overall South Korean credit card spending on Japanese products halved within the same period. The decrease is caused by the trade spat between the two countries and the growing anti-Japanese sentiment.
