According to a survey carried out in Canada in July 2019, Canadians who have a university degree or higher have the most knowledge of plant-based meat alternatives - some 97 percent of respondents within this category had heard of plant-based meat alternatives. This was two percent higher than the Canadian average of 95 percent.
