Leading radio stations in Poland 2021-2023, by listenership

Radio RMF FM was by far the leading radio station in Poland in 2023, with an approximately 30 percent listenership rate. The station's listenership decreased by a 1 percentage point since 2022. Second was Radio ZET, whose listenership increased by a 0.6 percentage point.

Leaders of the market

RMF FM’s listenership has been increasing for several years. The station is also the leader in Poland’s capital city, Warsaw, and was declared the country’s most influential radio station. Radio Zet is generally second in such rankings. However, when it comes to online radio services, Radio Zet (radiozet.pl) is the leader with over six million users, and RM FM (rmf24.pl) and Eska (eska.pl) follow.

How is the industry growing?

Radio reaches about three quarters of the Polish population daily, mostly by FM radio receiver. People are more likely to listen to radio in their cars. The growth of the radio advertising segment has been declining, but it is expected to return to a steady growth of around three percent in the coming years. For most of the leading stations, the income from advertising has been increasing – RMF FM is once again the leader here.
