According to a survey conducted in October 2021, 73 percent of the Singaporean respondents stated that cost savings from using electricity instead of petrol would encourage them to purchase an electric car. Additionally, the access to public charging stations would also encourage about 71 percent of Singaporean respondents to buy an electric car.
