According to the results of a survey on Singaporean shoppers between April and May 2019, 35 percent of respondents stated that their preferred payment method for online purchases under 35 Singapore dollars was by using a credit card. While cashless payment was the preferred method for more expensive purchases, more respondents (16 percent) stated that they preferred cash-on-delivery for smaller purchases under 35 Singapore dollars.
