According to the results of a survey on Singaporean shoppers between April and May 2019, 45 percent of respondents stated that they would be more inclined to purchase in-store if the shop was large enough to offer the shoppers every option available. The expectation of having a variety of options available in-store reflects the experience of shopping online, where it is easy to search for and compare various items at once.

The sample was balanced by age and gender to ensure representative results.
