In 2022, the value of foreign direct investment attracted by financial services in Shenzhen, China increased by 29.9 percent compared to the previous year. Shenzhen was one of the first of the Special Economic Zones to be established by Deng Xiaoping. Today, it is one of the most economically active cities in China.
