As of 2020, approximately two thirds of Swedish consumers said they never pay by mobile phone in-store where they have the opportunity to do so (67 percent). This number is rising compared to the years before. In 2019, for instance, 59 percent of respondents said that they would never pay by mobile phone in stores where this is available.
