This statistic shows the results of a survey about consumer expectations towards sourcing practices of companies in China as of April 2019. During the survey period, around 92 percent of respondents in China believed that companies have a moral obligation to assure they had a positive impact on people and biodiversity, however, only 74 percent of respondents trusted that companies paid serious attention to ethical sourcing.

The statistic represents the share of respondents who agreed with the statements.
To correct sampling disparities, a post-stratification weighting of results, based on socio-demographic variables, was applied.
