The statistic shows the change in the average monthly rental price of furnished dwellings in major Italian cities in 2018. According to the data, in 2018, rents in Bologna and Milan experienced the highest increase, growing both between 10 and 11 percent compared to the previous year. Rents in the capital Rome increased by 7.7 percent. Conversely, Bari, Cagliari, Genoa and Trieste experience a decrease in the average rental prices of furnished flats. In particular, rents in Genoa dropped by 8.4 percent compared to 2017.
