This statistic shows the total retail sales value of rum in China's off-trade and on-trade markets in selected years from 2013 to 2018 and a forecast for 2022. In 2018, the retail sales of rum in off-trade market, including stores, supermarkets, kiosks, etc., amounted to approximately 30.2 million U.S. dollars in China, whereas the on-trade market sales, for example, in bars, clubs, and restaurants, totaled around 21.5 million U.S. dollars.

The on-trade market includes outlets like bars, restaurants, coffee shops, clubs, hotels, etc. The off-trade market includes all retail outlets like hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores, mini markets, kiosks, wine and spirits shops, etc.
Values are given at fixed 2018 exchange rates.
