The overall number of registered cases generally decreased from January 2012 to June 2018. The share of pre-investigated incidents shrunk notably over time. In 2018, only about 20 percent of registered cases were pre-investigated, while the corresponding share at the beginning of the observed period was roughly 90 percent.

An act is considered as unauthorized access to legally protected computer information if it entailed destruction, blocking, modification, or copying of computer information.
