Annual value of incoming personal remittances in Niger 2000-2022
The personal remittances received in the Niger increased to 725 million U.S. dollars in 2022. This meant the last two years recorded significant higher personal remittances received than the preceding years.
Remittances are flows of money between immigrants and their relatives. They refer to personal transfers between resident and nonresident individuals, and the compensation of employees who are employed in an economy where they are not resident, and of residents employed by nonresident entities.
