This graph shows the results of a survey about clothes disposal in Italy in 2019. A survey conducted by YouGov Italia asked Italians the reasons why they dispose of their clothes in general. The results showed that 60 percent of the respondents admitted that they get rid of their clothes because they're worn out. Only 11 percent of the respondents said they throw away clothes because they have too much.
