This statistic displays the share of the reduction of traffic accidents after the incorporation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in the automobile fleet in Spain in 2016, by type of accident. According to a report published in October 2016, a reduction of around 70 percent of the losses caused by an involuntary lane departure is foreseen thanks to the implementation of ADAS in cars.
