This statistic shows the share of adults who have ever spoken with or been interviewed by a local journalist in the United States as of November 2018, sorted by age group. The findings show that older adults were more likely to have been interviewed by a local journalist, with eight percent more 65-year-olds having had a conversation or interview with local news media staff than those aged 18 to 28 years old.
