Finland: factors hindering 5G usage in digital pioneer enterprises 2018

This statistic displays the result of a survey on the factors preventing or delaying the usage of 5G technology of digital pioneer enterprises in Finland in 2018. According to the survey, a little under half of the respondents stated that 5G technology is too novel to fully estimate the potential benefits. Meanwhile, three percent of the respondents believed that 5G technology poses cyber security and data protection risks.
5G is used to describe the fifth generation cellular network technology providing broadband access. This technology is believed to offer fast speeds and reliable connections to devices using mobile networks.

- The importance of digitalization for the enterprise is critical, extremely important or important

- In addition, the analyzed enterprises seek almost without exception a new business activity which utilizes digitalization.
