Chosen program type of international school students in China 2018

This statistic illustrates the educational programs attended by China's international school students as of 2018. Around 52 percent of the surveyed parents in China said that their children had attended the program for Advanced Placement International Diploma (APID), which is a globally recognized award for students interested in pursuing university study outside of their native country.

The AP program is an education system from the United States and Canada which offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. With this award, students from other regions could also apply for a study in colleges in North America and other colleges where the award is recognized. There are over 120 international schools offering AP courses in China.
