This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted between December 2018 and January 2019 about the religiosity of first-time voters across India. A majority of about 19 percent of the survey respondents said they were extremely religious. However, six percent of the respondents said they were not religious at all.

The survey question was phrased as follows: How religious are you on a scale of 1 to 10?
Responses are on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is 'not religious at all' and 10 is 'extremely religious'.
The Lok Sabha elections were scheduled between April to May 2019 and recorded about130 million first-time voters.
