During the period surveyed, the majority of Indonesian respondents believed that the statement "elected officials care what ordinary people think" is reflective of Indonesia. 39 percent of respondents stated that it reflected Indonesia very well, while 37 percent of respondents stated that it described Indonesia somewhat well.
