Locations for regular grocery shopping in Germany 2021-2023

In 2021-2023, around 76 percent of German consumers shopped regularly at the supermarket for groceries and products for daily use. These supermarkets included such chains as REWE and Edeka. Other popular shopping locations included discounter supermarkets, bakeries and drugstores. The figures are based on the Statista Global Consumer Survey conducted between 2021 and 2023.
