A recent YouGov poll has found that half of Americans believe the content in the Atlantic piece while 31 percent consider the accusations false with the rest unsure. Unsurprisingly, the partistan divide is immense with 77 percent of Democrats believing Trump disparaged U.S. war dead and 71 percent of Republicans stating that he did not.
