Even though U.S. states are slowly reopening and workers are heading back to the office, it certainly isn't business as usual due to the ongoing threat presented by the coronavirus. Gallup recently conducted a poll among U.S. workers to find out whether their employers are taking precautions to prevent people becoming infected.
69 percent of those polled said that their employer has adoped new or more frequent cleaning practices such as wiping surfaces, frequent handwashing and using disinfectant while 58 percent stated that they are being provided with personal protective equipment. Screening for symptons is rarer at 41 percent.
