UK: most important factors when buying a car
Statista Global Consumer Survey
At a time when purchasing a house is increasingly beyond the means of the average person in the UK, buying a car is for many, one of the biggest investments they will ever make. There are a lot of factors to consider in choosing the right one, but which are prioritised by potential buyers in the United Kingdom? According to data from Statista's Global Consumer Survey 2018, at the top of the checklist is fuel efficiency. With 60 percent, this is the most important consideration by a fair margin and, as environmental friendliness was only cited by 23 percent of respondents, it would appear this is largely an issue for the wallet rather than the world.
