Most U.S. Women Have Been Sexually Harassed
Sexual Harassment
After more than 80 women accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment and with at least a dozen men alleging they experienced sexual misconduct by Kevin Spacey, a YouGov poll found that such experiences are a brutal reality across the United States. The research found that 60 percent of all U.S. women have been sexually harassed by a man at some point while 27 percent have not and 8 percent prefer not to say. When it comes to recognition of the problem, 27 percent of Americans consider it very serious while 42 percent think it is somewhat serious.
