What you do
- Write analytical and descriptive texts based on statistics and thematic dossiers related to various French and international sectors.
- Assisting the team leader in the selection of content to be featured on the French platform.
- Assisting in development of the content calendar for the French platform.
- Assisting the team leader in project management for the development of Statista in the French market.
Who you are
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies (preferably focusing on journalism, psychology, or sociology) or with a mandatory internship as part of the curriculum.
- Available to start the internship from January 2025
- Interested in writing and researching data; you want to participate in developing a fact-based independent media.
- Native or near-native French and good English skills, other languages, an advantage.
- Strong interest in French and international news, with a big-picture perspective.
- You are driven by curiosity, learning about society, economics, media, or business topics.
- You work in a result-oriented manner, are driven to “get things done” and show a practical, hands-on approach.
- You have strong writing skills and know how to catch the attention of your readers (in French).
- First experience in copywriting, journalism or in a newsroom is beneficial.
