What you do
- Sales responsibility for and management of the Academia & Public sector team in our APAC market
- Acquiring new business and further developing our client base across all company verticals (governments, universities, libraries, public institutions)
- Proactively develop sales opportunities from a variety of business product categories
- Consistently achieve individual monthly sales targets
- Draft, conceptualize and share new sales campaigns and ideas within our growing team
- Maintaining our existing B2B clients as well as implementing upsell and cross-sell measures
- Meet prospective clients for presentations and actively organize speaking opportunities in your designated sales region
- Working with clients throughout the entire sales cycle
Who you are
- 8-10 years direct sales experience, preferably selling market intelligence products & services or other SaaS online solutions
- Must-Have: Experience in outbound Academia or government sales as well as in acquiring new business in the Southeast Asia region\n
- Experience mentoring a team (2-5 people)\n
- Excellent command of English and Chinese\n
- Competitive sales nature with a desire to win\n
- Customer-centric mindset to understand how Statista can benefit our prospects\n
- Experience in driving sales negotiations with both influencers and decision makers
- Ability to manage a high volume of activity\n
- Desire to be part of a rapidly expanding business
