Euro

How do eurozone members feel about the single currency?

As part of the Independent's coverage of last Sunday's referendum in Italy which saw Prime Minister Matteo Renzi quit, Statista made the following infographic. It shows how eurozone members felt about the single currency late last year with Italy rock bottom. 49 percent of Italians felt the single currency was a good thing for their country. That is far behind the likes of Ireland and Germany where 75 and 70 percent of people respectively said the euro is a good thing.
