Batley & Spen and Witney by-election results
Yesterday in the UK saw by-elections take place for the seats left empty by the murder of MP Jo Cox and retirement of former prime minister David Cameron. In Jo Cox's former constituency of Batley and Spen, Tracy Brabin of Labour won convincingly with 85.84 percent of the vote. In Cameron's old Oxfordshire stomping ground of Witney, the Conservatives were pushed harder than usual - Robert Courts winning the seat with a 15 percent lead over the Lib Dem candidate.
