Britain's highest-paid chief executives

The pay gap between the CEOs of Britain's biggest companies and their average employee has tripled over the past 15 years, according to a report compiled by the High Pay Centre. Sir Martin Sorrell of WPP is the highest-paid CEO in Britain, having earned a whopping £43 million in 2014. He is followed by Shell's Ben Van Beurden with £19.5 million and Erik Engstrom of Reed Elsevier with £16.2 million. Read more in Statista's latest feature in the Independent.
