In the wake of American journalist Jim Foley's brutal killing by the Islamic State, one of Statista's Forbes infographics looked at the deadliest countries for journalists in 2014. Two civil war ravaged nations come first and second - Syria and Ukraine. Six journalists have lost their lives in Syria so far this year and 4 have been killed in Ukraine.
