TV license fees are frequently criticized in many countries for a multitude of reasons with some viewers feeling the quality of the content delivered does not reflect the size of their payment. Indeed, the size of the payment varies significantly across Europe and according to ARD, Switzerland and Norway have to pay the most at €322 and €312 per year respectively. Viewers in Poland have to pay far less at €63 annually.
