The rise of intelligent service robots in China

Over the past three years, the popularity of artificial intelligence continued to rise in China. As the best carrier for artificial intelligence technology, service robots have uses in many industries such as medical care, logistics, catering, and customer service. According to Analysys research, the size of China's service robot market will reach 12.29 billion yuan in 2018, an increase of over 27 percent from the previous year.

Compared with the growing demand of service robots in professional markets, personal/home service robots have experienced a significant decline from 2016 to 2017. Analysys experts believe that the service robot market will continue to grow during the next three years, and the professional markets will become the main force driving the growth of service robot sales in China.
